How to Use

1. Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry completely.
2. Separate the two strips and click them together. Remove the black liner from one side and press firmly onto the back of the Command Hook.
3. Remove the remaining liner and press the hook firmly onto the wall for 30 seconds.
4. Wait 1 hour before hanging anything on the hook.
5. To remove, hold the base of the hook and slowly pull the tab straight down along the wall until the strip releases cleanly.

Can I use these strips to hang pictures and frames?

No — these are refill strips designed for Command Hooks only, not for hanging frames or artwork. For picture hanging, use 3M Command Picture Hanging Strips, available separately in small, medium, large and extra-large sizes.

Will these strips damage my walls when removed?

When removed correctly — pulling the tab slowly and firmly straight down along the wall — Command Strips leave no holes, cracks or sticky residue. Always follow the removal instructions to protect your surfaces.

Which surfaces do Command Strips work on?

They hold firmly on most smooth indoor surfaces including painted walls, tiles, glass, metal, laminate and painted wood. They are not recommended for wallpaper, textured or delicate surfaces.
